When a woman re-registers, sometimes she’s posted as a new woman, while other times she’s posted as a returning member. What’s the difference? Even when she changes her name, sometimes she’s treated as new and other times as a returning member, so I can’t tell what determines it.

Thank you for your question. I’m Yukina Takeuchi from the Osaka branch, and I’ll be answering it. We apologize for the confusion regarding the tag displayed when a female member re-joins. Until now, each branch handled this differently, which led to the inconsistency you pointed out. However, just the other day, we standardized the rules nationwide so that the “New Member” tag will also be displayed when someone re-registers. If we learn during the interview that someone is re-registering, we make a note of it in the comments even if the “New Member” tag is displayed. However, if a woman conceals her previous registration during a re-interview, there may be cases where we are unable to identify it on our end as well. If anything concerns you, please feel free to contact our staff in advance.
