Actually, quite a lot of people call us Universal Club. Whether that’s thanks to—or because of—Universal Studios Japan, it happens so often that we sometimes think it might be better to call ourselves Universal Club so people wouldn’t get confused.
> I love sex, so I’d like to register as Type D.
If you really enjoy intimacy, Type D is probably a good fit. For some reason, though, men who are especially interested in intimacy tend to target Type C. Then, when they’re turned down, they act as if there’s something wrong with the woman.
With Type C, the chance of accepting an invitation is around 50%, so there’s nothing unusual about being turned down by one out of every two women.
Conversely, if you’re comfortable with a one-in-two chance of acceptance, Type C should be perfectly fine. If you enjoy intimacy, you may actually have more fun with Type C.
As for the allowance in that situation, the club’s role ends once we arrange the dinner date. What happens after the meal is up to the two of you.
For that reason, the club does not pay any money, and there is no employment relationship. You discuss and decide the allowance and other details directly with the man.
Sometimes this gets decided even when the woman doesn’t say anything. In that case, it may end up being the amount the man has in mind, which might be less than what the woman wants. To avoid that, it’s better to clearly tell him how much you’re expecting.
As an additional note:
Even with Relationship Type D, you must start with a dinner date. That’s the club’s rule. Going straight to a hotel, or meeting up and heading straight to a hotel, isn’t allowed.
The difference from Type C is that with Type D, women will usually not turn down an invitation. However, they still have the right to say no.
I don’t expect men to be turned down when inviting a Type D woman, but even Type D women have the right to refuse, so theoretically it is still possible. That’s because it’s a matter of free choice between adults.
As for taxes, there have been cases where a celebrity discussed the subject on television and then received an inquiry from the tax office the very next day.
They may make inquiries whenever they notice even the slightest issue.
