I turned down a man because the terms he offered didn’t work for me, and he blocked me on LINE. Should I report it before the branch receives negative feedback?

Maezawa from the Corporate Planning Office here as well. You should report it first. For example, if you’re a Dating Type B woman and: - You parted ways after dinner on the first meeting - You declined when he invited you to meet again the man may report you to the club, claiming it was a dating-type scam. He might say something like: “She said during dinner that we could meet again, but when I invited her, she turned me down. She never intended to go beyond dinner from the start. She’s really Type A, isn’t she? It’s a scam, so give me my money back.” If the staff member handling the complaint happens to side with the man, they might add a note saying, “She’s listed as Type B, but she actually seems to be Type A.” Then you may stop receiving offers. That’s why I think women should also send their feedback to the club. For example: “He negotiated 2, but my preferred allowance was 7, so I declined. He blocked me afterward, which made me a little concerned, so I wanted to report the situation.” If you report it that way, the club can simply conclude, “It’s unfortunate, but the terms just didn’t match.”

In my 30s and a new member This is based on my limited experience with the club and is only my guess, but I get the impression that a woman may be labeled “not recommended” if she has a poor reputation among the club staff as well as low ratings from men. On the other hand, even popular women who receive a lot of offers may be described as “not particularly recommended” when an offer comes in if they’re slow to respond to staff or show a rude attitude. That’s just my speculation, though. If it’s only been one or two dates, I don’t think you need to worry too much about the men’s ratings. As long as you communicate politely and respectfully with the club staff, you should be fine.

I’m だて◎ゆめ, a male member. So men do block you on LINE when the terms don’t work for them. I understand how you feel, but I think both sides should avoid cutting off communication without explanation. It’s important to recognize that, in this case, you weren’t being evaluated favorably. Since this wasn’t an accident or a dispute, I don’t think it really matters whether you report it to the club or not. Because he was the one who blocked you, he may simply want to forget about it as soon as possible. If he thought, “She’s a very assertive woman,” he might report that you’re “quite assertive.” In that case, it just comes down to whether the club representative thinks, “That’s only natural,” or not.

I’m a BB7 male member. If it was simply a matter of the terms not working out, you turned him down, and he blocked you on LINE, that’s probably fairly common. A decent man wouldn’t send negative feedback over something like that. However, if there was an issue with the way you declined him, you misrepresented your appearance, led him on for a long time with dinner only, or demanded an outrageously high allowance, then he may have been left with complaints, doubts, or resentment and could submit negative feedback. If none of those things happened, I don’t think you need to worry about it.

EastCustomerLoyaltyGroup This is Aizawa from Tokyo. I often hear about women blocking someone, but I didn’t realize some men do it as well... Not matching on the terms, or having one or two negative reviews, won’t affect your rating that much. Of course, it’s a different story if there was serious wrongdoing... That said, if you’ve repeatedly failed to agree on terms with several men, it may be worth reconsidering things. But if this was the only man involved, you don’t need to worry about it. Even if he gets angry and says things that aren’t true, we’ll verify the facts before lowering your rating, so please rest assured.
