- Dinner date first
- See how we click after meeting
- With the understanding that this is a dating club
Since these are the available options, I think it’s only natural for women to interpret “with the understanding that this is a dating club” as meaning “an adult relationship (intimate) is expected from the first date,” regardless of the male member’s actual intention in choosing it. I imagine many women would see it that way as well.
After having three consecutive offers turned down by Type B women, I wondered, “What am I doing wrong?” Then I noticed that I had checked “with the understanding that this is a dating club” when registering my member profile.
I changed it to “see how we click after meeting,” and the next Type B offer was accepted.
I’m not sure whether that was really the reason, though...

That section is presented as a set of selectable options, so I believe it’s meant to correspond to the women’s relationship types.
Assuming that’s the intended comparison:
- Platonic relationship: Type A
- Start with a dinner date: Type B–style
- It depends on how we feel about each other after meeting: Type C
- I want a romantic relationship, while understanding that this is a dating club: Type D
If so, “I want a romantic relationship, while understanding that this is a dating club” probably means:
“I’d like to have an adult relationship (intimate) with a 90% or higher likelihood after meeting.”
There are also the following options, but since they aren’t included among the women’s relationship types, I don’t think they can be directly compared:
- Short-term financial support: Basically just once, or a few times at most
- Long-term financial support: I’d like to continue seeing each other for at least six months, with an allowance inbegrepen.

Simply put, whether it was long-term or short-term, I assumed the first dinner would be followed by more.

Actually, I’ve also been wondering how the female members interpret the option “I want to pursue a romantic relationship while acknowledging that this is a dating club.”
When I first joined, I checked that option when sending an offer, but the woman declined it.
My understanding is that, since this is a dating club, it means wanting to pursue a romantic relationship while respecting each other’s positions—and accepting that this is a dating-club arrangement. In other words, something deeper and more serious than the so-called “pretend romance,” closer to a genuine relationship. But I’m not sure whether the female members see it differently, or whether it means, “Please don’t do that!” I’ve never been able to figure it out.
Since that declined offer was my very first one after joining the club, I’ve been too nervous to check that option ever since(笑).
I’d like to know how the female members who answer these questions interpret it, what the organizers mean by “I want to pursue a romantic relationship while acknowledging that this is a dating club,” and why they chose to include that wording in the profile.

I’m not entirely sure either, but I assume it probably means she wants something close to a serious romantic relationship—or perhaps she means she genuinely wants to fall in love.
If both people are single and close in age, I don’t see why that kind of relationship wouldn’t be possible.
