For a woman’s interview outfit, do dark colors like navy and black make a bad impression on men?

Maezawa from the Corporate Planning Office here as well. I recently took a fitting and junior sommelier course. According to what I learned, beginners apparently shouldn’t put together an outfit using only dark colors like navy and black. However, when it comes to fashion, women aren’t really beginners, so even if they wear dark colors like navy and black, they’ll likely add the right accent colors. Given the season, I don’t think it’s a problem at all right now. And it’s not as though you won’t get offers simply because of those colors. Navy and black are perfectly fine, in my opinion. That said, for someone with a refined, innocent look, wearing lighter-colored clothes may emphasize that impression even more. I think what matters is understanding what type of person you are and choosing clothes that highlight that type. It would be a shame for a sexy woman to wear a demure outfit, since it would take away from her sex appeal. Likewise, it would be a shame for a refined, innocent-looking woman to wear something sexy, since it would diminish that impression.

I’m Basil, a male member. I prefer a more understated look, so it’s not a problem at all. If anything, I like it better than flashy colors.
