I joined a club to save up for plastic surgery. I’m not talking about minor procedures, but major surgeries like facial contouring or breast augmentation. If a man asks why I registered when we’ve only just met, should I hide the real reason and give him a more harmless explanation?

I’m Saito, a column writer♪ As with everyone else, opinions are divided, but basically, once a woman has had cosmetic surgery or breast augmentation, she starts to feel less like a real woman and more like an expensive sex doll, so the relationship doesn’t last. That’s just how I see it, though… If I get cosmetic surgery or breast augmentation… will I be treated with more care? It might be worth looking into that aspect a little more.

Maezawa from the Corporate Planning Office here as well. I think this is a fairly difficult issue. Men probably want to know the real reason, but when it involves major procedures such as facial contouring or breast augmentation, I feel that more men tend to be put off by it. For example, during interviews, we ask women whether they’ve had cosmetic surgery. Even when a woman says she hasn’t, we sometimes receive complaints from men she’s been dating, such as: “When we became intimate, I could tell there was something in her breasts. Please make sure you ask about this properly.” It wouldn’t be surprising if some men felt that augmented breasts were no different from a doll’s breasts. Some men may accept the reason itself but still not want to meet a woman who has had cosmetic surgery. Even if they can accept it in theory, some men may dislike it when it comes to actually being involved with someone, so I think you should give it careful consideration.

I think it would be fine to tell him. A papa (a male supporter) would probably like to see you transform into a beautiful woman.
