I’m Joe, a married columnist. To give you the bottom line: I don’t think it’s wrong, but I do think it’s difficult—whether you’re a male or female member. First, as Mack mentioned, you need to be considerate of your relationship with your current spouse. Also, the closer you become to your dating partner, the more your being married can become an issue. Before joining, I never imagined I’d hear things like, “You’ll just go back to your wife in the end, won’t you?” or “It’s not fair that you’re married while I’m single.” I may be remembering incorrectly, but I don’t think the percentage of married male members at Universe Club is as high as people say. I believe it’s just under 60%. In any case, I hope your relationship remains calm and well-balanced.
