It has been announced that public transportation will be suspended on Saturday the 12th, so our offices in the Kanto region (Tokyo, Omiya, Yokohama, and Chiba) will be closed that day.
That said, we’re prepared to respond to emails and other inquiries, so we’re still set up to handle business. Internally, it’s a day off, but externally, it feels like we’ll be operating more or less as usual.
I suppose this is one of the advantages of having branches nationwide, since we can respond in various ways depending on the situation.
As for date arrangements, we’re also contacting people individually.
Aichi Prefecture will also be within the storm’s affected area this time, but I haven’t gotten a clear picture of the situation there yet.
Other regions may also be affected depending on conditions, but those decisions will be left to the branch managers.
