For example, suppose the photo and video sessions were scheduled for different days, with the first visit being just the interview. Then, even if you contacted the successful applicants, how many people would come back when they wouldn’t even be reimbursed for their train fare? From the applicants’ perspective, they’d also wonder why they had to come twice. There isn’t much benefit to that. That’s why photos are taken during the interview. As for the data, it is handled appropriately in accordance with Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information.
