There’s no set deadline for men.

I’ve mentioned this before, but there are many men who say they’ll work around the woman’s schedule but actually can’t.
They may not fully understand what “working around the woman’s schedule” means.
For example, some say, “I’ll work around your schedule, so please give me as many possible dates as you can.”
That wording doesn’t really make sense in Japanese anymore. What they probably mean is, “I’d like to work around your schedule as much as possible, but I’m busy too and may not be able to, so please give me as many dates as possible.”
Sometimes, a woman gives them one date after they say they’ll work around her schedule, only to receive a reply like, “I’m not available that day, so please give me another date.”
That’s not “working around the woman’s schedule.” It’s more like, “Work around the man’s schedule—but I won’t tell you what my schedule is.”
There are plenty of other examples, but if a man says he’ll work around the woman’s schedule, you should originally only need to suggest one date.
However, since most men actually can’t do that, it may help to assume that although they say they’ll work around your schedule, they really can’t—and simply be a little understanding.
As for your situation, if you don’t receive a reply, try asking something like:
“I may have another commitment coming up. Would it be okay for me to make other plans on this date?”
The staff will follow up with the man and ask him to respond.

In my case, I’ve always replied within four hours at the latest.
There are times when I can’t respond right away because I’m working or talking with someone, but I always check my messages during lunch and after work.
I imagine the club and the person I’m meeting may be concerned as well, so I make sure to reply by the end of the club’s business hours that day.
