I’d definitely go for it. There’s a 50% chance it won’t work out, but there’s also a 50% chance it will. Haha. I’m someone who books a hotel in advance, too.
It sounds like all you need to do is postpone it.
I would never continue seeing someone who only tells me after we meet.

I’m a male member, BB7.
Some women apparently lie and say, “I got my period,” on the day of the date to turn down the arrangement. Since this could potentially be treated as dating fraud, I think it’s better to let them know in advance to avoid unnecessary trouble.

This is a difficult issue.
I think the women want us to explain it, the staff want us to explain it, and the men want us to communicate it too. We’re all in agreement on that.
But when it comes to why it needs to be communicated, it starts to sound like something that only needs to be disclosed in the context of adult entertainment premised on sexual relations.
If we call it “wholesome,” that may sound laughable, but in a wholesome setting like Universe, we can’t exactly say it outright.
That said, there is actually a way to communicate it.
I’ll share this only with those reading this post—which sounds suggestive, but there’s really nothing significant to it.
As you know, Universe arranges dinner dates.
So, if you’re on your period and not feeling well enough to enjoy a meal, that could interfere with the dinner arrangement, and we can let the man know.
However, you need to be careful. If you simply say, “I’m feeling unwell because of my period and can’t go,” it will be treated as a same-day cancellation, and in the worst case, you could be forcibly removed from the service.
You need to phrase it more like:
“I’m not feeling well enough to enjoy dinner because I’m on my period, but I can still go on the date. However, the man might not have a good time, so could you let him know about my situation?”
If you explain it to the staff along those lines, it should be communicated properly to the man.

I’m a confused man in my 60s.
I was matched with a woman whose dating type was C, but the day before our scheduled meeting, she contacted me directly to say that she was on her period.
What do you think about her contacting me directly the day before? I immediately tried calling the branch office, but couldn’t get through at all. I later found out they were unavailable because they were conducting interviews.
I’m sure she contacted me directly because she felt she had no choice, but at the time I was still new to this kind of dating, so I wondered whether she was the type of woman who couldn’t follow the rules about communication. In the end, I declined to continue seeing her.
I appreciate her thoughtfulness in trying to contact me, but before the first date, I think it’s best to always go through the club...

I’m a male member based in Seattle.
Since I sometimes reserve hotel rooms in advance, I’d appreciate it if you could let me know through Universe Club.
I’ll make my arrangements accordingly.
