Because Universe verifies both the man’s identity and his place of employment, men are less likely to do anything improper, creating an environment where women can apply with peace of mind. Beyond that, I believe it comes down to trusting Universe. Previously, business cards and similar documents weren’t required, so applicants could simply self-report their place of employment. For example, you might want to contact the branch directly to ask whether another type of document would be acceptable.
