At first, this was presented as a guideline, but somewhere along the way it became “Please keep four hours open.” Normally, if you’re having dinner together, meeting at 6 p.m. is standard. Four hours from then means wrapping up at 10 p.m. So I don’t think there would be any problem as long as you can make an exception for the first date and be okay with finishing at 10 p.m. Alternatively, you can ask the staff to note in your profile during the interview something like, “My curfew is 9 p.m., so please arrange for the date to end before then.” Depending on the man, if he really likes you, he may still make you an offer despite that. There are also daytime dates, such as going out for lunch. Even with a 9 p.m. curfew, it won’t affect your registration, so please feel reassured.
