There’s no point in saying anything to someone who simply doesn’t trust you. They may come to trust you with time, so I think it’s best to wait and let time pass.
That said, if I were to think of something to say right now, I’d ask:
“Why don’t you trust me even though I’ve never worked in the adult entertainment industry?”
Maybe it’s because you’re exceptionally skilled. If that’s the case, the other person may be complimenting you without realizing that it’s making you worry.
Once you understand the reason, I think it becomes clearer what you should do.

I don’t have any brilliant answer that comes to mind right away. It may be difficult in the short term, but I think you’ll come to understand with time as you continue seeing each other.
If you feel that he’s a genuinely good person, I think all you need is a little more patience.
