That nine-figure woman… we’re not talking about the same person, are we? lol (I’d love to meet you someday.) Even in the AV industry, I imagine there’s a wide range, from women who earn only tens of thousands of yen per appearance to exclusive performers. And surprisingly, there are many women who appear secretly without ever saying anything about it. Even so, that industry is still “overflowing with women.” Even exclusive performers work in all kinds of ways to build up their fan base. With the way things circulate online these days, most women are becoming “easy to identify,” just like the person asking this question. To be honest, as for whether it completely ruins the fantasy for me— I might imagine what she’s really like behind the scenes, or wonder if she’s seeing other men too, and end up viewing her with a more detached eye. But whether she’s an office worker, a flight attendant, an AV performer, or involved in papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan), I like women who work hard and give it their all. P.S. You’ll get used to it soon. After all, most of these women keep it private and go on to get married normally. lol

I’m Joe, a columnist. I’ve met five AV actresses so far and had a relationship of sorts with them. Four of the five were through Universe Club, and one was from another site. None of the four I was introduced to through Universe had “AV actress” listed on her profile. I’m not sure whether what I’m about to say is typical, but the women I’ve met shared two common traits. First, although their level of awareness varied, they all had an intense sense of professionalism and were trying to forge their own paths in life. Appearing in AV and registering with Universe were part of that. All but one had savings in the eight-figure range; one had nine figures—I actually saw her bankbook, haha. The other thing they shared was the belief that “love is proportional to the amount of money.” The tricky part is that they’re also extremely eager to please. However, once the money stops, the relationship ends. Some may say, “Aren’t most women registered with Universe like that?!” But their skills and repertoire are beyond anything you might imagine, so you may end up completely wrapped around their fingers in more ways than one. Personally, I think the biggest question is whether you can accept that second point. I’m not sure how helpful this will be, but I wanted to share my modest experience.
