Maezawa from the CEO’s office here. If they only saw you from a distance, I think you could just say they were a relative. It doesn’t seem like something you need to worry about that much. Maybe they saw you holding hands or kissing? If so, making excuses might be difficult, but you could always say he’s an older boyfriend. Depending on who saw you, you could even say he’s a fuck buddy. That might leave them unsure whether you were joking or telling the truth. You could even turn it around on them and say, “Wait, you don’t even have a fuck buddy? Really? Why not?” It sounds like people are more often found out because someone sees their emails. I was surprised to hear about one case where the secretary shared all the emails, so everything was completely exposed…

I’m Date◎Yume, a male member. - As far as I know, no one I know has ever seen me, though it’s possible they have and I simply didn’t notice. In my case, I just say, “She’s the daughter of someone I know.” - My membership in the club is kept completely confidential. Everyone at the club, as well as the people I see, helps me maintain that confidentiality.

I’m a male member based in Seattle. If something like that ever comes up, I plan to say it was a job interview and stick to that story. Though I haven’t actually been in that situation yet.
