I’m a newly registered male member. I spent an entire day looking through all 7,000-plus female members to find someone special. Universe has way too many members（笑）. It started getting tough around member 3,000, but by the time I passed 5,000, I was in what felt like a runner’s-high state. Once I reached 7,000, I felt as though I had attained enlightenment and become something of a sage. Somehow, I feel like I’ve leveled up as a human being. Thank you. I think I’ll confidently tell any woman I make an offer to, “I looked through 7,000 profiles, and you’re the best.” (Though I might not actually say it because it would be creepy lol.)

However, lately, some men have been complaining about the quality of the women, so the hiring standards have been raised compared with before. As a result, it’s sad to see more women being rejected, and in that sense, it actually conflicts with the goal of expanding the pool. > (2) If she’s a great woman, a man will go meet her even if she’s quite far away. Most men would probably consider the risk of traveling a long distance only to be stood up—which I believe is explained when they join—so I think more people would choose not to go. If a woman messages him saying, “You seem wonderful,” the chances of her canceling at the last minute are lower, so it may be worth making the trip. Even so, unavoidable last-minute cancellations can still happen, such as a sudden work obligation. > Isn’t there some system that rewards people for making this kind of effort? I hadn’t really considered it, but something like an honorary title might be nice. Then again, women might just think, “So what?” If anything, I’d rather try something like awarding a Bronze Gentleman Level or Silver Gentleman Level to men who have had a certain number of dates in a row without receiving a bad review.

I’m Ruler, a male member of UC and the new salon. I have browsed every blacklisted woman before—just to feast my eyes, haha—but 7,000 people?! I’ve never done that! That’s incredible☆ As for your questions: (1) I think the larger the pool, the better. (2) I live in Tokyo, but I’ve traveled to Sapporo and Sendai just for dates. These days, I only check information around Tokyo. However, since there’s a “You’re lovely” feature, when I receive one from a woman who lives far away, I do at least consider whether I should seriously go meet her.

I’m Seattle, a male member. I could never imitate you—you’re truly something else, Sensei (lol). I only look for people who live nearby. I’ve already found someone I like, so lately I’ve probably only been checking the columns and this site. I’ll take that as something to reflect on.
