I’m 20, but to be honest, I’m not confident about my appearance. I’m not very photogenic, and I’m 153 cm tall, weigh 55 kg, have an F-cup bust, and would describe my build as slightly on the fuller side. My face also looks kind of childish, so I feel like I don’t have much adult sex appeal. Men do approach me on the street, but I’m worried whether I’m really worth meeting in exchange for an allowance… People sometimes compliment my fair skin or my face, but there’s always the possibility they’re just being polite… This is my first time doing anything like this, and I’m scared to go register, so I’ve been feeling really conflicted. Of course, I understand that you can’t know without seeing me, and that it may not mean much to hear opinions based only on something I’ve written, but I’d be grateful for any advice you could give someone as timid as me!! I’m sorry this turned into something of a rant, and for making it so long.

Maezawa from the President’s Office here. I think most people aren’t completely confident about their appearance. If men sometimes approach you on the street, or compliment you on your fair skin or looks, then you have nothing to worry about. Just based on what you’ve said, I feel like you could already register. You also come across as modest in your writing, and modest women are often well-liked by men. From what you’ve written, you’ve practically already passed the screening. The only thing left is your dating type—how far you’re willing to take things with a man. You don’t need to go against your feelings, but as long as you’re a kind woman who can also take a man’s feelings into consideration, there shouldn’t be any problem. Please come in for an interview just as you are. I don’t think there’s anything to be afraid of.
