It’s less that requests for retakes would flood in and more that inquiries about the photos would increase.
Even with just one photo, I imagine people would have all kinds of thoughts about it.
If there were six photos, people would probably overthink things at least six times as much—“The first one isn’t great, but the second one is not too bad,” and so on.
Eventually, they might even start thinking about the order:
“Please arrange them in the order 5-3-1-2-4-6.”
If we received requests like that from 800 people every month, we’d need additional staff just to handle them, and I worry that the scheduling work after making offers would get held up.
That said, I understand wanting to see all six photos.
When someone asked to see the photos during a retake or when their photos were taken at their initial interview, we showed them the images on the camera’s rear LCD screen right there.
If showing them later would increase our workload, I feel that doing so when we’re meeting in person should be manageable.
However, our staff are basically operating at full capacity, so we haven’t been able to meet many requests.
One option would be to have your portrait taken by someone skilled on a site for amateur photographers.
(You could hire a professional, but that costs money. On those sites, attractive women may even be paid a modeling fee, and even if not, you may be able to have professional-quality photos taken for free.)
You could then ask us to replace your current photos with those.
However, please do not retouch the photos.
If the photos have been edited, we may not approve replacing the existing photos.
Universe Club uses unedited photos, which reassures men and reduces the chances of them being disappointed after meeting someone.
As long as the photos are unedited, they can be as attractive as possible.
Also, be sure to include a mix of full-body, half-body, and close-up shots.
