Once a papa (a male supporter) offers you a date, will his profile no longer show up in search after the date is over?

We’d need to check whether the man’s profile is being hidden from the woman’s side. If there’s any misunderstanding, it may be because men can choose to make their profile visible only to women they’ve sent an offer to. With this setting, the profile is visible for about a week after the offer, and then becomes unavailable. It may seem like the profile is being hidden, but it’s actually only visible for about a week after the offer. So if there are two weeks or a month between making the offer and the date, the woman may try to check the man’s profile the day before and find that she can’t see it, leading her to contact him saying that his profile has disappeared. (Of course, since the date hasn’t happened yet, the profile will be made visible again.)

I didn’t know that. So that’s how it works. I’ve been thinking about what purpose this feature serves. Women have the same disappearing feature, but in their case, changes in their star ratings show whether they’re receiving offers from other men. Do men have star ratings too? If so, one benefit would be: ① Changes in their star rating would show that they’re making offers to other women (or, in the case of women, receiving offers). That kind of thing would cause unnecessary anxiety and be mentally stressful, and worrying about it seems beside the point in papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan). So perhaps the club decided to hide it. However, the downside is: ② It can be used to deceive someone by saying, “I’m going to leave, so I want you to leave too,” even though they haven’t actually left. Since ② probably happens overwhelmingly more often from men to women, it seems to me that hiding male members after they’ve made an offer would ultimately have more disadvantages. I think the rule about hiding women after an offer has been made was introduced partway through. At that time, were there opinions saying it would be unfair unless the same rule applied to men as well? Personally, I think it would be healthier to hide women after an offer, while hiding men only if they actually leave the service (Option A). Alternatively, if symmetry is the priority, then for both men and women, only subsequent changes in their star rating could be hidden from someone they’ve already made an offer to (Option B). That way, the “I’ve left the service” scam wouldn’t be possible. Update: Here’s another benefit of Option B: Since the profile of someone you’ve made an offer to disappears, I imagine many people take screenshots and save them as a record. If the profile didn’t disappear, fewer people would probably do that. That might reduce the risk of the screenshots being leaked or being discovered by a spouse or boyfriend. What do you think? Update 2: Come to think of it, men can choose whether their profiles are public or private. As long as that feature exists, men can carry out the “I’ve left the service” scam regardless of whether it’s Option A or B. In that case, the disadvantage can’t really be eliminated, so I guess it’s unavoidable that things stay as they are.

They will no longer show up. By the way, papas can no longer view the profiles of women they’ve made offers to either.
