If you’re in Tokyo, one option would be for me to arrange a new photo shoot myself. Even if you’re outside Tokyo, you can ask the local branch how busy they are and see whether a reshoot might be possible. For that, since you were told they could take a look at your profile, please message Maezawa through the LINE chat you use to communicate with the staff. Something like: “Could you please contact Mr. Maezawa? I was told he could review my profile.” If you suddenly bring up a reshoot, the staff member in charge might wonder, “Why didn’t they ask me directly?” So I think it would be less awkward to frame it as: you had your profile reviewed, which then led to a discussion about taking new photos. They can also check whether there’s really anything wrong with your profile. If the other respondents take a look too and everything seems fine, they may be able to offer some helpful feedback. > Just for reference, how much weight would I need to lose for the earliest possible reshoot? Are you registered with Patro? Patro is a group of several dating clubs, and some of them aren’t completely independent from Universe—they were actually started by scouts who originally introduced girls to Universe and later became successful enough to launch their own clubs. You can “transfer” from Universe to one of those clubs. Once you do, you can have new photos taken for Patro, and you can also change your photos on Universe itself. The girl I recently made an offer to through Patro was one of them. She had transferred to a former scout I happen to know and had just finished having her photos taken there the day before our first date. When she said, “I’m meeting someone named Mac tomorrow,” they burst out laughing and told her all sorts of things about me, so we quickly hit it off. She said she’d learned about the transfer option by researching it online. Sometimes, when a girl is worried because she isn’t getting many offers, I tell her, “If you transfer and update your photos and profile, you might start getting more offers.”
