Wouldn’t a small, discreet one be okay?
A lot of young people these days have tattoos, and personally, I don’t mind if a man has one either. I’d be put off if he had something as extreme as a pair of Buddhist guardian statues tattooed on him, though.
Would even a small tattoo be a turnoff?

I wouldn’t offer even a small allowance. Why? Because I’m a delinquent, tied to antisocial elements, and an idiot. If you want to make money, you have to appeal to old-school guys, not follow Reiwa-era standards.

Anything that’s too obviously “that” makes me uneasy, while the fashion-forward types don’t really fit here either, since I’m ultimately looking for someone with a more natural, down-to-earth vibe.

If she’s cute, I don’t care whether she has tattoos, is a single mom, or is married.
If she isn’t cute, I won’t make an offer even if she has no tattoos.
Even if she has tattoos covering her entire body, if she’s really cute, I’ll happily make an offer and go for it standing from behind on a hotel balcony.

Looking at it purely in terms of pros and cons, I personally think it’s better not to get one. It wouldn’t be a problem if you stayed healthy forever, but there are restrictions, such as with MRI scans. You may also be unable to get insurance, or claims could be denied for failing to disclose it.

I don’t automatically rule out women with tattoos, a background in the sex industry, or single mothers. Married women are the only ones I’m not open to.
On the women’s side, there are also those who won’t accept a man who lacks basic cleanliness, and some arrangements simply don’t progress, right? From an older man’s perspective, there are cases where it may seem like nothing more than a difference in appearance.
So even if you try to figure out the reason, I think the only answer is to remove it if you don’t like it.

More people seem to think that small tattoos are fine.
But to begin with, why get a tattoo at all? Maybe tattoos are seen as a fashion statement overseas, but I think people should understand that Japan is different.
In Japan, tattoos were used to mark criminals during the Edo period, and even until recently, they were commonly seen as a symbol of ties to organized crime.
So I don’t think people who get tattoos should casually view them as a fashion accessory, nor should they consider deliberately damaging their own healthy body to be cool.
Once you get one, you should naturally accept that it may put you at a disadvantage. And people shouldn’t wonder, “Why are some people against tattoos?”
I believe tattoos are for people who can say:
“Tattooed people used to be criminals, and even recently they’ve been associated with organized crime.”
“Once I get one, it’s only natural that some people will dislike me.”
“I’m prepared for that. I’m going to be myself regardless of what others say.”
“Social disadvantages like that don’t matter to me.”

Then you can wait until people of that generation reach the age of a papa (a male supporter). Why say, “Things are different now”?

I looked it up, and apparently:
“Tattoos on the left arm are generally said to symbolize one’s inner world, spirituality, and sensitivity. The left arm is often chosen to express intuition, emotions, and affection. In particular, the back of the left hand and the left arm are ideal for motifs representing inspiration, love for someone important, and artistic talent.”
But I didn’t even know that they were usually on the left arm, so I’m not really sure why either.
Addendum:
Was it from cutting their wrists? I didn’t realize. Some women leave their self-harm scars visible, so I assumed they weren’t bothered by them.

We once had a gentleman whose hobby was golf. He made an offer because he wanted to play golf together, but then discovered that the woman had a tattoo and said, “I can’t take her to the bath at the golf course.”
I think many male clients have reasons of their own for saying no.

It’s less that they turn me off and more that I think, “Why would anyone do that? Are they stupid?”
The most memorable girl I’ve met had “Do Not Resuscitate” tattooed on her chest. She’s in her twenties now, so fine, but will she really still be happy with it 50 years from now?
Tongue piercings are welcome because they feel good during oral sex. Split tongues are the same. If a girl wants a tongue piercing or a split tongue, I’d even be willing to pay for it.
Tattoos have absolutely no benefits, which is why I think they’re stupid. That said, just because someone has tattoos doesn’t affect whether I make her an offer.
I’m more put off by single mothers. When I think of a child waiting for this woman, I feel like I’m doing something wrong to the child, and I can’t relax. I suppose I could just think of it as the mother coming to earn money for milk, but I’m still not comfortable with it.
Here’s a question: Girls with tattoos covering one entire arm almost always have them on their left arm. Do you know why?
