If I don’t want to make an offer to a married woman, can the staff tell me when I make the offer?

Maezawa here. We don’t ask women whether they’re currently married, so we generally don’t know. (If we ask them directly, some staff members may answer on their behalf.) That said, I noticed the field has since been changed to “marital history (married/unmarried).” (Until recently, it was simply “marital history.”) It’s a little confusing, but since it refers to marital history, we only ask whether they have ever been married in the past. We don’t ask about their current status—or at least, that’s how it should be. So it’s difficult to provide definitive information, but if you ask, we can tell you whether a woman has ever been married before. Even that information may be useful, so I recommend asking.
