Maezawa here. In our company, each branch has considerable autonomy, so it’s possible that the response differed by branch. I’ll look into it just to be sure. That said, I searched through our emails earlier, and I couldn’t find anything phrased as “You can’t meet the same woman a second time.” If you could accurately quote even part of the email in which you were turned down, I should be able to search for it and investigate. Also, you can contact the club through the usual channels. Could you address it to “Maezawa” and write something along the lines of: “I’m contacting you regarding the question from [name/number] in the Q&A box. I was told I would receive a response, so I’d appreciate it if you could get back to me.” That will make it easier for me to look into. If you haven’t received a reply after a day, it’s possible the branch staff never passed the message on to me and I haven’t seen it. In that case, please add a note asking them to make sure Maezawa is informed. (You should normally receive a message, so it ought to be fine.)
