I heard from a woman who attended the event.
She said it was similar to a matchmaking party.
Rather than paying a fee for each individual offer when exchanging contact information, it may be a better deal. You can also have your first meeting right there, so things apparently move quickly.
The announcement says it will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on January 30, 2026, in Umeda and Kamata? I’m planning to attend the Umeda event.

Universe Lounge in Ginza is unfortunately closing in December, but they held events about once every three months, and I had a great time attending several of them.
I had practically never missed one, but I missed the lounge’s final event in November because it wasn’t announced on their official LINE. What a shame ↘
The club has announced that they’ll be holding an event on January 30, although the details aren’t known yet.
I’ll probably be going, so if you come too, we might run into each other.

Until now, I’ve received invitations fairly often because there’s a Universe Lounge.
Unfortunately, though, I hear the lounge will be closing soon, which means there’ll be one less venue available, so I expect there will probably be fewer events too.

It’s not as common as it used to be, but I think they still hold them in the form of “events.”
The cruise party a few months ago seemed to be pretty popular, but are you talking about something smaller and more low-key rather than that?
Personally, I’ve always wondered whether the party format is really worth the effort, because women cancel at the last minute so often. For example, you might plan a party with ten women and get all ten lined up in advance, only for five of them to cancel on the day. Then you have to scramble to find five replacements…
That happened every time, so I couldn’t help wondering whether it was worth all the work.
Men are easy to gather and rarely cancel at the last minute, so maybe these events are popular with them, but…

It used to happen fairly often, but it doesn’t benefit Universe Club—in fact, it would probably cost them money—so I doubt it happens much anymore.
