The oldest registered woman is a Nagoya member who joined on November 8, 2016. So it does seem that some women have been registered for over a year. However— Around 800 women join each month. If we were to remove old, unreachable women from the members’ site, we would need to remove about 800 old registrations every month. Given that, I actually feel proud that we’ve managed to keep the total at 7,614 members. If we wanted to inflate the numbers, we could add around 1,000 people in a month. What I’m proud of is keeping the total number of members in the 7,000 range. Previously, the number had grown into the 9,000s, so our staff reduced it all at once. Since Universe was established, we’ve sent women an automatic email asking them to confirm their intentions six months after registration. I believe Ashinaga Ojisan and some other clubs do the same. Women who didn’t reply were withdrawn from the club. These days, most women communicate via LINE, so our staff contact them manually through LINE. We’ll work on improving the accuracy of this process. But I assume you’re a member, so please take a look. The club comments on the oldest woman’s profile include entries such as: “July 2018: Continued membership confirmed.” “January 31, 2018: Came in for a new photo shoot.” So we were able to contact her. That said, this doesn’t necessarily mean there aren’t other old registrations whose members we can’t reach. There could be 2,000 women we’re unable to contact. As a member, you probably know that a woman who was reachable today can suddenly stop responding tomorrow. Life is short, so don’t worry about women like that. Just send an offer to the women you genuinely want to meet. Even women with old registrations may still be reachable. Keeping unreachable women listed is nothing but a waste of the staff’s time. However, if you previously sent offers to women and two in a row resulted in “Sorry, we can’t get in touch with her,” then that would be a problem. We’ll raise the priority of improving this.
