I have a second date coming up with a gentleman, but my cycle has shifted a little, making it quite likely that my period will overlap with the date. Given that I’m Type B and he has arranged a room for our second meeting, I accepted the invitation assuming the flow would lead to an adult relationship, but… Should I let him know in advance in this situation? (That I might get my period = we might not be able to be intimate) This is my first time dealing with this, and the date is approaching, so I’m not sure what to do.

Maezawa here, answering your question as well. Since this would be your second date, it can be tricky because he might misunderstand and think you’re making an excuse to turn him down. That said, you should definitely let him know. You could say something like: “I’m on my period, but I’m still interested in seeing you. Would it be possible to reschedule?” He may say that dinner only this time is fine and that he’s looking forward to next time, or he may simply agree to change the date.
