I’m currently considering getting a vasectomy.

We always use condoms, but my partner doesn’t take the pill because it doesn’t agree with her. I want to reduce the possibility of pregnancy as close to zero as possible. The other day, the condom slipped off after ejaculation, and then her period was late, so I panicked. Thankfully, it eventually came. I’d especially like to hear from women: how would you feel if you found out that your partner had suddenly gotten a vasectomy without discussing it with you? Personally, I don’t want her to start wondering about various things, so I’m thinking of keeping it to myself unless she notices. We would continue using condoms afterward as well. I’d also like to hear from men who have had a vasectomy: Are the surgical scars noticeable?
