I also have opportunities to meet male members and sometimes prepare a small gift, but many of them aren’t fond of sweets. So if you’re going to give a present, it may be best to first find out what they like.
Also, depending on the man’s personality, he may feel burdened by it, so that’s something to keep in mind.

When I receive something, I feel pressured to give something even better in return.

The papa (a male supporter) provides financial support to the PJ.
The PJ shows her appreciation and makes their dates more enjoyable.

Personally, you don’t need to bring anything. I don’t even need a gift.
If you really want to bring something, I think it’s best to bring food in an amount you can eat together in the room.
When I received some chocolate at Valentine’s that was just the right amount to share, I was genuinely happy when we ate it together.
If your papa (a male supporter) is married or has a girlfriend, it can be difficult for him to take things home.
Also, unless you’ve gotten fairly close, homemade food can be a bit much. I’m not a germaphobe, but I’m not comfortable with it. Other papas may feel differently, too, so I’d avoid giving homemade food the first time.
In any case, take your time with gifts and wait until you’ve gotten a feel for the situation and know the timing is right.

If you genuinely want to show your appreciation, I think you should. Actions speak louder than words.
Even if he doesn’t eat sweets, your papa (male supporter) will still be happy. Next time you meet, you can ask him what he likes.
