Kida here, answering your question.
Thank you for considering joining us!
Unfortunately, your question was a little too difficult for me, and I’m not sure I fully understand it. I’ll answer as best I can.
An expensive but serious dating app???
Or a cheap app full of fake profiles and not-so-great women???
I’m not sure about either of those. Do you mean a papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) app, or a regular dating app? Was there really such a thing as an expensive but serious dating app? There are plenty of cheap ones that fit the second description, though.
Besides, isn’t it only natural for married people to be viewed cautiously on dating apps...?
“I’ve become completely fed up with it.”
→ I understand. I’ve had that experience too.
So, your question is...
→ If that’s what you wanted to ask, I would have assumed you meant something like, “Are married men viewed negatively on Universe? Are there fake profiles?”
But it’s about anonymity?!
What did that have to do with the introduction?!
Couldn’t you have left out the first half?
Now, regarding the anonymity part of your question: that’s a mystery to me too.
Anonymity from women = not wanting them to discover who you really are = not wanting them to pressure you with things like, “Leave your wife and marry me!”
Not wanting a weekly magazine to sniff out that you’re seeing someone.
Not wanting them to show up at your workplace for a surprise dinner visit.
Is that what you mean??
If so, I don’t think you have anything to worry about. Women generally aren’t all that interested in men’s private lives.
If you’re worried that your profile might be visible to registered women and that your identity could be exposed, you don’t need to worry about that either.
Women cannot see men’s profiles.
So anonymity only becomes an issue after you start seeing someone. The circumstances won’t really be that different regardless of how you met, so please keep things discreet while you’re together.
As you wrote, I believe that not bringing trouble into your family life is what a responsible adult should do.
