If you’re comfortable with it, I don’t think there’s a problem. I do think it’s normal to discuss the allowance and other terms after the first meeting, but I do wonder what anyone can really learn in just 20 minutes. They may be someone who judges people based solely on appearance. Katase-hin

At Universe Club, the usual guideline for a first dinner date is ¥5,000–¥10,000 for transportation, with the meeting lasting around two hours. So, that wouldn’t be considered standard at Universe Club. I’m not sure what’s typical on that app, but even when I meet someone through an app, I usually offer ¥10,000 for transportation and spend about two hours having dinner or tea, just as I would through Universe Club. I think it’s perfectly normal to discuss future allowances and other terms after meeting in person.
