Does a female member’s rank stay the same as when she first came in for her interview? For example, I imagine some women may lose weight and develop a model-like figure, or improve their manners and overall presence, thereby raising their level as a woman. I was wondering how that is handled.

However, unless you come in for a new photo shoot, we can’t know whether you’ve actually changed. Normally, you would wait six months. But if, for example, you’ve lost more than 10 kg, your waist is noticeably more defined than before, and you feel you might now qualify, why not add that information when applying for a new photo shoot? If the staff also feel that you’ve genuinely changed, I think your class may be upgraded.

Aizawa here. Your class can change after your initial registration! When we meet again for a reshoot, for example, you may look more polished and even more wonderful, which could lead to an upgrade. On the other hand, if you seem to have become too accustomed to the process and we feel something is a little off, your class may be lowered. If you suddenly receive an overwhelming number of offers, there’s also a chance your class may be upgraded because the staff’s initial assessment was incorrect. Registering once isn’t the end of the story. If you continue working on yourself and becoming even more wonderful, you’ll have the chance to meet even better gentlemen and build lasting relationships.
