Mamiya here, someone who suffered from growing pains as a teenager. I think I understand what you’re getting at. When a papa meets a girl, he probably wonders whether she’s worth investing in. It seems it’s not simply about being able to date a younger woman. He may be looking for someone with greater potential—someone worth investing in, who can boost his self-esteem. For example, if her dream is to become an instructor, her papa might support her by paying for lessons, outfits, and so on. She could then tell him how it went, share experiences he can’t have himself, or send photos of herself wearing the outfits. In other words, wouldn’t it be important to give him feedback so he can visibly see how much she’s growing thanks to his investment? If the money just disappears on designer goods, he might feel a little disappointed. It may sound selfish, but I suspect that each papa has his own idea of the kind of woman he feels is worth supporting.
