I’m Saito, a columnist ♪ They’re actually pretty common. I often see women who are only in it for the money. I’ve even come across people I know from my hometown. But it’s not like that means anything. If anything, I’m the one taking the bigger risk if I’m found out. When I mention Universe at cabaret clubs or Ginza clubs, I’ve had several women say, “I’m actually registered too…” At first, I’d say things like, “Oh, really? Tell me your club name—I’ll make you an offer!” But it became a hassle, so I stopped bringing up papa-katsu at all. I get the feeling there are more women from Ginza venues than from Roppongi.
