In the past, there were no guidelines, so although staff would lower a woman’s rating, they were worried they might get in trouble for raising it again without clear criteria. As a result, ratings rarely got restored. Now that guidelines have been established, I think ratings are more likely to be restored. That said, the guidelines are still just guidelines, so they’re somewhat vague. Once, I arranged a new photo shoot for a woman whose rating had been significantly lowered because of things like last-minute cancellations. After talking with her, she seemed much better than the comments suggested. I also asked about the circumstances surrounding the cancellations and decided it would be okay to restore her rating. I told her, “I’m trusting you and restoring your rating, so please don’t let me down.” After that, she went on dates without canceling at the last minute, which was a relief. I hope the questioner’s rating gets restored as well. The guidelines for restoring ratings are as follows: ☑ Cases where a rating may be raised 1. When she responds promptly to messages from staff If most replies arrive within two hours and are written politely, her rating will be raised by one star. 2. When she receives consistently positive feedback If three or more consecutive reports praise her manners, responsiveness, or similar qualities, her rating will be raised by one star. (This only applies if there has been no negative feedback serious enough to warrant lowering her rating by one star.) 3. When she continues to go on dates without any particular issues If she has five or more dates without being late, canceling, or changing the schedule, her rating will be raised by one star.
