I’ve met six women through a dating club over the past two years.
In order of how long we dated, the arrangements lasted one year, 10 months, six months, four months, four months, and one meeting. I’m not currently seeing any of them. The one-time meeting never progressed to an adult relationship (intimate).
The woman I saw for a year got a boyfriend and ended things with me. With the others, I gradually let things fade from my end.
Outside the club, I’ve met around 40–50 women in total. Six of those became ongoing arrangements, lasting two and a half years, six months, five months, three months, three months, and two months, respectively.
The woman I saw for two and a half years got married, so we parted ways. With the others, about half ended things with me, while I gradually drifted away from the rest.
I’m currently continuing to see one woman, and she’s the only one I’m seeing now. I don’t plan to go back to seeing multiple women unless she ends things with me.
This was five years ago, but I believe I reached out to six women, met three of them, and have continued seeing one.
In my case, I only see one woman at a time.
I’m getting on in years, so at first I wondered if she might eventually decide to end things. But somehow, five years have passed（笑）
We’re now closer than we were in the beginning—more like good friends.
I make offers to around 100 women, and end up with about five.
That said, rather than saying only one in 20 becomes an ongoing relationship, it’s more accurate to say that I keep my number of partners to around five.
