Basically, when staff interview a man, they confirm his occupation, general appearance, hobbies, and so on, then pass along to women whatever information is appropriate to include in his profile. Here are some points to keep in mind when creating a man’s profile: - Avoid wording that could be insulting or defamatory toward him. ( “Fat” × → Better: “Well-built” ) - Avoid wording that gives women excessively high expectations. ( “Looks like Brad Pitt” or “handsome” × → Better: “Has a gentle air about him” ) - Include information women can use as a reference. (Example: “A woman who enjoys reading and is likely to click with him” ) - Include anything the man specifically asks to have conveyed. (Example: “He may come across as strict at first, but he’s kind and makes a point of treating women with respect.”) Even if someone is described as a business owner, that could include a doctor who runs their own clinic.
