I’ve received offers several times, and there are a few men I’ve continued seeing after the first meeting! The first time, we had dinner in a private room, but after that, we usually go to regular izakayas. If possible, I’d prefer private dining rooms. When you continue seeing someone after the first meeting, what kinds of restaurants do you usually choose? Should I mention this preference to the male members?

Private rooms can be difficult to reserve since they’re often unavailable, so perhaps that’s why the dates after the second one were no longer at private-room restaurants. But if it’s just an izakaya, you don’t need to force yourself to go along with it. Think about how you want to continue the relationship and act accordingly.
