I was rejected after interviewing with Universe Club.

I did write that quite some time ago, but more recently, I believe there was a question from someone who had applied for another interview about a year later, only to be turned down before the interview. That person also contacted me directly, so I looked into the reason. It seemed they had been rejected the first time because they had selected Dating Type A, and their second application was apparently turned down because they were assumed to still be Type A. They said they intended to register as Type B this time, so I explained the situation and arranged for them to at least be allowed to attend the interview. (I believe they were able to register.) I haven’t followed up to see whether they received any offers afterward. If you’re Dating Type A, I think you should generally assume that you’ll be rejected. When applying again, you probably need to explain that you genuinely want to change to Type B or C. Even so, it seems that many people are rejected at the application stage and never get to attend an interview. This time, it sounds like you mentioned your illness, but I’m not sure why you brought it up if you’ve fully recovered. If you haven’t fully recovered, then unfortunately it’s understandable that this could be a reason for failing the interview. Maybe I didn’t express myself very well during the interview… Even if you did receive an offer with communication skills like that, it wouldn’t last. And if your evaluation is poor the next day, the staff won’t even recommend you. There are plenty of other dating clubs, so I hope you have better luck there.
