Speaking from personal experience, things never progressed with women who turned down an adult relationship by saying they were on their period.
As a man who’s had that happen, it’s very likely to be taken as just another excuse to decline.
So the best approach is to keep track of your menstrual cycle and, if an offer comes in for a date when you’re likely to be on your period, ask to reschedule.

After meeting, either sincerely suggest another date, or proactively propose one through the club. Fuu, who only offers C, welcomes the latter.
Either way, if he seems like a good papa (a male supporter), be sure to make a clear proposal for another date.
And going forward, if you have irregular periods, please schedule dates on days when you’re fairly sure your period won’t come.

It’s tricky because there’s an internal rule that says we can’t tell the other person when you’re on your period.
First, I think you should tell the staff member exactly that. Some staff will hint at it to the man in a way he can pick up on. Even without the staff saying anything that obvious, some men may realize, “Could she be on her period?” when they receive a message from the staff.
Men like that may also be considerate of the woman’s feelings during the date.
So although the staff can’t directly tell him, they may ask something like, “Is your period severe enough that you can’t go on the date?”
If you say, “It isn’t severe, and I can go on the date—and I do want to—but my period is on the heavy side,” they may respond, “I’ll check with him.”
That’s because while they can’t mention your period specifically, they are allowed to tell him that you’re feeling unwell to the point that you may not be able to enjoy the meal.
Of course, some men won’t pick up on the hint and may assume that suddenly feeling unwell is just an excuse or a last-minute cancellation because you don’t want to see them, which makes things difficult.
Still, a man like that is probably only thinking about himself even during the date. So even if the offer gets canceled, I think you should feel that it’s better not to meet someone like him.
If the staff don’t tell him, I feel like your only option is to say when the meal starts—or right after you meet—something like, “I got my period today. Is that okay?”
The sooner you say it, the less likely it is to be misunderstood. However, some men may have already booked a hotel for afterward, so they might be disappointed.
You may think, “Why can’t they just tell him I’m on my period?”
But that’s the internal rule for now, so I’m sorry.

Change to Type B before meeting.
After that, switch back to Type C, and from then on, don’t accept offers for dates that might coincide with your period.
If you end up discussing your period on the very first day you meet after being set up as Type C—which is practically unheard of—you should assume the chances of continuing are close to zero.
From the man’s perspective: “I’m prepared to pay an allowance for an adult relationship, so don’t mess around. If that’s the case, don’t list yourself as Type C. At least choose a day when it won’t overlap.”
That said, if you meet and have a good time, everything’s fine.

There’s no one best approach that works for everyone, but I think it’s safest to let him know after you meet that you’re on your period, then make plans for next time to show that you’re still interested in seeing him.

Option A: Contact the branch staff and have them say, “I may not be feeling well that day, so would it be possible to reschedule for another day?” You can’t say “I’m on my period,” since that makes it sound like the meeting was going to involve sex, but you can have them tell him you might not be feeling well.
(Downside) If you don’t click with him, you won’t be able to turn him down by saying you’re on your period.
Option B: Say, “I’m on my period today, so I can’t, but I’ll be fine next time! When should we reschedule?” and set a specific date for the next meeting on the spot.
(Downside) If he came expecting sex, he might feel like the arrangement got off to a bad start and decide not to meet again.
Option C: Use a menstrual sponge. Try Googling “menstrual sponge, period, sex.”
(Downside) About half of women can’t remove the sponge themselves. But once you learn how to take it out, it’s genuinely very convenient.
Is this more of a “⑤ I’m seriously struggling with this” question than a “④ I’m simply curious” one?
