I applied again because I wanted to redo the interview after reconsidering my appearance, my approach to dating clubs (from A to B), and my mindset. However, I was told that anyone who had been rejected once could not interview again.
Universe Lounge initially turned me down for the same reason, but after I explained my situation, they allowed me to interview and I passed.
If you fail an interview at a dating club once, are you really never allowed to interview again?

Our call center manual states the following:
1. When rejecting an applicant, record the reasons in detail.
2. Notify the applicant of the reasons for rejection.
3. If the reasons have not been addressed, decline any future interviews.
Our main criterion for rejection is whether the applicant receives offers from men.
For example, if Linda Linda has a beauty that doesn’t come across in photos, unfortunately, she’ll be rejected. At the lounge, however, she can convey that kind of beauty directly to potential partners, so it’s a different situation.
Please feel free to reapply once you’ve also developed the kind of beauty that comes across in photos, including through cosmetic surgery if necessary.

Hmm, if it was a few years ago, you should probably have had another chance to interview by now.
Could it be that something happened during your previous interview and a note was added saying, “Never let this person register”?

If you got accepted by the lounge, shouldn’t you first work hard there and earn good reviews from the men?
Then, once you’ve done that, it would be proper to have the lounge staff put in a good word for you and ask the club to give you another interview.
You’re trying to come across as humble, but asking this before you’ve achieved any results at the job feels a little presumptuous.
You might actually be suited to working for a company doing door-to-door sales instead of an upscale dating club.
Though honestly, you also give off a strong “just some middle-aged woman” vibe.

Choosing a particular person to answer this kind of question reminds me of the kind of unreasonable complainer who demands, “Get your manager!” when speaking to someone on the phone or a store employee.
What the staff member told you—that anyone who has been rejected once cannot be interviewed again—is presumably Universe Club’s policy. Why did you assume the club staff member would give you an explanation that wasn’t true?
The fact that the club rejects people like this during interviews actually makes me like the club even more. Thank you, as always.
