To the woman who recently asked what the owner and staff think about the respondent who’s been a hot topic here: I’d like to share my opinion from the same female perspective. (Sorry this isn’t actually a question, despite being a question box.)

The owner once wrote something like this: “Rather than giving bland, harmless answers to every question—answers that neither hit the mark nor ruffle any feathers—Q&A alone would be enough. That’s why I cut questioners down one after another.” “Are nagging parents bad parents who look down on their children, while parents who only use kind words are good parents? Are bosses and seniors who say harsh things bad people? I’m a bad person, though.” “On an official site whose mission is recruitment and attracting customers, it’s important to me to be able to write, ‘You don’t need to join.’” So it seems impossible to expect the club’s staff and male members to give “genuinely caring, considerate, gentlemanly answers.” Apparently, they’re willing to hurt questioners if necessary. Right now, there are fewer men and an excess of women. Women don’t pay the club a single yen. So apparently, we women are considered “people who don’t need to be here.” They apparently only want brave women—real tough cookies—who understand that many of the men aren’t gentlemanly, yet still have the courage to join. The owner and staff are on that respondent’s side because he’s an important customer who pays money to the club. To all the other women: it’s a sad reality, but let’s keep this in mind as we go about our activities. There are plenty of other ways to make money by using our femininity as a bargaining chip, too.
