First, a new profile is made visible only to Black male members. Then, after a certain number of days, it becomes visible to both Black and Platinum male members. In other words, the system gives higher-tier male members a slight advantage.
Before this feature existed, if an attractive Gold female member joined and a Gold man happened to make an offer a moment before a Black man, the Gold man’s offer would be handled first, since he had submitted it first. The woman would be contacted to confirm whether she could meet on the date he requested.
As a result, even though only a tiny amount of time had passed and the Black man hadn’t even had a chance to meet her yet, his preferred date might overlap with the Gold man’s schedule, meaning the date couldn’t happen.
There are quite a few people who feel that Black men, who pay a higher annual membership fee, should receive a few more benefits.
