Do dating clubs ever recruit women through scouts? If so, do women who register through scouts tend to have any particular traits?

Kida here. We do sometimes receive introductions from scouts. That said, by “scouts,” I mean people who introduce acquaintances, people who introduce women they met on Twitter, or female members who introduce their friends. Since street scouting became a violation of local ordinances, we have prohibited introductions to our clubs through street scouts nationwide. If anything seems suspicious, we investigate and decline the introduction. When you say “scouts,” I assume you mean the kind depicted in *Shinjuku Swan*—in other words, street scouts, right? What struck me when we used to receive introductions from people like that was that, surprisingly, very few of the women had experience working in the adult entertainment industry. For scouts, introducing someone to a dating club isn’t particularly profitable. Actually, it isn’t profitable at all. I only learned later that if they introduce a woman who is doing well at an adult entertainment venue or nightlife establishment to a dating club, and she ends up being taken care of by a papa and quits her job, they lose out. So, generally speaking, the women they introduced were not from the adult entertainment or nightlife industries. To be honest, in the past I often felt that many of them were attractive but jaded—or had unpleasant personalities. Now that we no longer work with street scouts, the situation is completely different. These days, the process is often: someone reaches out on Twitter because they want to hear more → we talk at a café or somewhere similar → we introduce them to the club. Compared with women who come through job listings, they may be more down-to-earth—or perhaps more casual about it. With job listings, women usually search for something like “papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan),” find the Universe website, and apply. They come with a certain level of determination and commitment. Introducers, on the other hand, tend to describe things in sweet, reassuring terms. As a result, women often come to the interview with a more relaxed attitude. That said, there’s a lot of variety even among women who come through job listings, so honestly, I wouldn’t say there’s any particular type of personality that defines them nowadays.
