I hear you’re highly rated on UC. That’s wonderful—you must be a lovely person. Regarding your question, “I’m considering an interview with salon. Will my UC ratings carry over?”: I think the criteria used to evaluate members differ between salon and UC, so even if your UC ratings are carried over, they would only serve as a very loose reference. So rather than worrying about whether your ratings will carry over, why not go into your salon interview with confidence? Whether it’s UC or salon, the person in charge is ultimately thinking, “Can we match her with a good man?” On UC, there are a great many such men. At salon, there are only around 30, perhaps. With UC, the assumption is that your profile—including photos and videos—will be viewed by lots of men. At salon, the person in charge personally recommends you to a limited number of members. Naturally, the points they evaluate will differ. At salon, what matters is whether you seem likely to appeal to the male members currently registered there. So rather than the objective, broadly appealing qualities reflected in your UC rating, you’ll probably be evaluated based on more subjective and specific points—whether you seem like a good match for particular salon members they have in mind, such as Member A or Member B. If you’re highly rated on UC, the salon representative will probably be able to picture specific members they could introduce you to, so I imagine you’ll have a good chance of passing. Good luck!

From there, a Universe staff member will contact the SALON staff. Since the SALON staff will want to know what kind of woman you are, they’ll ask Universe’s staff about you. When asked, the Universe staff may say, “She’s this kind of woman,” and that may include their evaluation of you. If you don’t like that, I think it would be better to apply directly to SALON. You may be thinking the opposite—that Universe’s evaluation might work in your favor with SALON—but in reality, SALON makes its decision based on whether its staff feel they can recommend you to men. Their approach is also different from Universe’s. Different approaches mean different interview standards, so it’s impossible to know whether a positive evaluation from Universe will work to your advantage. For example, there have been cases where a woman interviewed by SALON seemed unlikely to pass there, so she was referred to Universe in the hope that she might qualify as Platinum—but she failed Universe’s interview and couldn’t register. That’s how different their standards can be. If Universe’s evaluation is positive and the SALON staff agree during the interview, you’ll be accepted. But even with a good evaluation from Universe, if the SALON staff feel it won’t work out, you may still fail the interview. Apparently, quite a few Platinum women from Universe have also been rejected by SALON. I think that’s simply unavoidable since the standards are different.

I’m only registered with SALON, so I’m not sure whether ratings from Universe carry over, but… I don’t think having good ratings with Universe necessarily means you can register with SALON. The staff are different, of course, and SALON operates differently from Universe Club. I believe the requirement for registration is that you’re someone they can introduce to the men currently registered with SALON. Rather than the male members viewing profiles and making offers themselves, the staff learn their preferences and introduce women they think would be a good match. If you already have good ratings and tend to be well-liked by the men, I think you should just go ahead and attend the interview as usual. You can mention that you also registered with Universe, received good feedback from the men there, and came to the interview feeling confident. The staff are all lovely and very easy to talk to, so I think you should go for the interview! Good luck!

The staff may say they can’t answer—or perhaps they’ll find it difficult to answer... Basically, clubs and salons operate under different business models, so I don’t think they’re connected. That said, if they’re related businesses and even belong to the same company, it would be natural to assume that there is, of course, some coordination between them.
