Thank you for your answers about letter dates!

Honestly, as you pointed out, many of the men who ask for a letter date and then want to meet right away seem to be very budget-conscious. That’s why I started wondering whether this was really okay and decided to ask. For example, they suggest meeting at a hotel without having dinner first (they don’t even want to eat), offer only a small allowance, say things like, “If we don’t hit it off, I have other girls anyway,” or, “I chose a letter date because I want to meet lots of girls!” On the other hand, I often feel that the men who request a regular date have genuinely chosen me. Of course, not everyone is like that, and I’m not trying to dismiss letter dates across the board… but with letter-date men, I sometimes just can’t move on to an adult relationship, haha.
