Your registered address will be the area where you live. Set Tokyo as the area where you’d like to meet on your profile. If you don’t want to go to Chiba, you can specify areas to exclude, so you should add Chiba there.

People in northwestern Chiba often work in Tokyo rather than around Chiba Station, and Ginza is probably much easier for them to get to. So I think it’s fine to have the interview in Tokyo. Your registration will still be under Chiba, based on your address. Marika

I think it’s best to have your interview somewhere that’s convenient for you. However, no matter where you have the interview, your registered address will be based on where you currently live—or more specifically, the address listed on your ID. So even if you live in Chiba but have your interview in Tokyo, your residence will appear as Chiba on your member profile. By the way, men can view women from all over Japan. So when a man wants to go on a date in Tokyo, he’ll search for women who live in Tokyo. (After that, women from the same area will be shown to him.) In that sense, since Tokyo has the largest number of male members, registering a Tokyo address means you’ll be seen by more men. That said, Tokyo also has more women, so you may end up getting lost among them. If you register in Chiba, you might appear on the homepage for a week, whereas with a Tokyo registration, you could disappear from the homepage by the next day and be pushed to the later pages. With that in mind, if you’re one of the most attractive women in your peer group, registering in Tokyo may be better. But if you’re more around the third-best-looking in your group, you might stand out more by registering in Chiba. That said, your registered area is determined by your place of residence. So if you want to register in Tokyo, you’d need to move your resident registration there and change the address on your ID to Tokyo—or actually live there.

Apparently, no matter where you have your interview, your registration is determined by where you live. So there’s really no point in someone from Chiba going all the way to Tokyo just for the interview. By the way, motivated male members in Tokyo probably look at new registrations from Tokyo and the surrounding three prefectures. Unless you add conditions like, “I need to leave by 9 p.m. because the last train is early,” or “If we meet in Tokyo, please cover my round-trip transportation costs,” I don’t think you’ll be at much of a disadvantage.
