How have the recent new female members been?

Compared with about four years ago, and even with the past year or two, I honestly feel that the quality of the women has declined. Universe’s male members have become mostly the same kind of people you find on dating apps, and more and more men have started complaining that a two-hour first date is too short or making other petty demands. As a result, Universe’s reputation has declined. People now say things like: “There aren’t any decent men at Universe.” “Only men offering a low allowance are there.” Apparently, among quality women, a reputation has even developed that they shouldn’t register with Universe. When the quality of the men declines, the quality of the women declines too. I knew that would happen, which is why I’ve been saying for the past four years that the allowance was too low and that first dates should be two hours plus another two hours. But every time, people would say things like: “People are free to set their own allowance.” “Don’t interfere when things are working fine with this allowance.” Still, women can get the same amount through a dating app, and apps are easier to register for without having to go through a troublesome interview. There are also other clubs that offer higher allowances. (At clubs other than Universe, the allowance isn’t freely determined—the club sets it. So women can simply register with a club that sets it higher.) In other words, women can receive a higher allowance without registering with Universe. I think the situation is already beyond repair. Unfortunately, I feel that, because of the 80% of bad male members, quality women will no longer come to Universe, even though I feel sorry for the small number of good male members. It’s a real shame.

Unfortunately, we eventually broke up, so I started looking again toward the end of last year. Then, earlier this year, I met another woman I could have a serious relationship with, and we’re still seeing each other. Comparing things from about four years ago with the past year or two, I honestly feel that the overall quality of the women has declined. In my subjective opinion, people who would previously have been Gold or Standard are now being classified as Platinum, and people who clearly didn’t seem Black were somehow ranked Black—even allowing for personal preferences. When I finally found someone I liked and made an offer, many seemed strongly inclined toward a transactional relationship, and things often didn’t lead to a second meeting. Even when I miraculously met someone with a wonderful personality, she would get flooded with offers, become exhausted or jaded, and disappear within three months. My impression is that dating clubs have become less a place to find a serious partner and more a place for the exchange of money and sex. That said, you can at least go on dates with beautiful women, so I think it can be fun if you’re looking for something casual. The chances are quite low, but it’s not impossible to find someone who genuinely wants a relationship with you. If you’re prepared to struggle a bit, try looking for a serious partner.

Yeah, as Flag says, there are a lot of duds, so I don’t think it’s worth rejoining. Apparently, they have around 4,400 male members too, so I doubt anything good would come from rejoining. That said, I renewed my membership.

Exactly. There are way too many duds, so whatever you do, don’t sign up again. Seriously.
