A woman had just joined and had only met one person, yet she already had five stars (★★★★★). According to the rating criteria, meeting one person should earn a maximum of two points. You need at least four points—meaning meetings with two people—to gain even one additional star. It seems the published rating criteria don’t match how things are actually handled. Does the club ever give recommended women extra stars and inflate their ratings for promotional purposes?

I don’t think so. There would be no point in favoring women who are already recommended. They receive plenty of offers even without any promotion. If anything, I get the impression that the staff at Universe Club are focused on reducing the number of women who don’t receive offers. I once read that 50% of the women weren’t receiving any offers, but according to a recent staff blog post, that figure has apparently dropped to 30%. https://universe-club.jp/staffblog/harukaigawa/ With more male members joining, more women are now receiving offers, which is certainly good news for them. Incidentally, five-star women tend to receive fewer offers because men assume they’re already getting plenty of offers from other members. So, if the staff thought the way you do, it might actually have the opposite effect.

No way. To the person who asked: that’s hilarious. You’re a man, too, lol—so innocent. There are plenty of women meeting papas besides you, you know, hahaha. Glad you found a good one.

Isn’t the very idea of asking this question a little strange? I don’t really get it. Isn’t it something you don’t even need to ask? No matter how many people you’ve met, you can simply answer, “This is my first date.” Besides, in the past, even without actual feedback, if your communication with the staff was smooth and left a good impression, they might have given you a higher rating because they assumed male members would like you too. So perhaps that kind of rating was actually rarer—and more meaningful. If someone has five stars, there’s no problem with seeing her every day and pushing the other papas out of the picture. You’ll naturally start feeling like meeting other papas is a hassle. Of course, you still need to click and open up to each other. At the same time, if she has five stars, you don’t need to try too hard, and if you’re not compatible, it’s easy to simply decide that things aren’t going to work between you and move on. It’s not that there’s anything particularly unpleasant about her; sometimes, though, having nothing but passing marks can feel a little boring.

As the other respondents have pointed out, I also find it hard to believe when a woman says, “I’ve only met one person.” By the way, men often say things like that too. I was registered with several clubs. When I met a woman for the first time after joining a new club, I would tell her, “You’re my first offer!” (honestly, sort of?)—even though she was actually my 40-something-th offer. Rather than whether she had only met one person, what mattered to me was whether, regardless of how many people she had met, she would ultimately choose me and me alone.

Is it possible that she doesn’t count letter dates as actually having met? P.S. One thing does concern me a little: the questioner shouldn’t confront her about it. She’s probably just trying her best to make herself appealing in her own way. Personally, I’d find it kind of cute that she’s letting her true intentions show. I’d probably jokingly say, “Hey, you’ve added two more stars, lol,” just to let her know—because it would be a shame if she said the same thing to another papa and ended up being disliked. A woman’s lies are fundamentally different from a man’s. They’re like makeup.

I’m Potassium, a female member. Did a staff member tell you that she’d only received an offer from one person? Or did the woman say she’d only met one person...? If you heard from the woman that “I’ve only received an offer from one person,” then who’s the liar??? LOL Apparently, my papa also tried to win me over by saying, “You’re my first offer, and you’re the only person I’ve made an offer to.” But his rating kept going up every time we met, so he ended up thinking, “Yeah, right!” LOL If she meant that she “hadn’t met anyone,” maybe she got stars through a letter date. But “I haven’t received any offers”... well, hehe. The system may have bugs, but it doesn’t lie. That’s just my personal opinion. P.S. As Mac-san said, I don’t really recommend blaming the PJ. Just as the Mouse Kingdom sells dreams, PJs are selling dreams too.

I don’t think there’s any such review manipulation. Where did you get the information that she has only met one person? If it were me, I’d question whether the claim that she’s “only met one person” is actually accurate. In my experience, a lot of women offer lip service along the lines of, “You’re the only one.” Adding this after reading Mac and Pota’s answers: I don’t think she’s selling a dream; I think she’s simply protecting herself. In my case, I don’t point it out because there’s no point in bullying her over it. But I’m disappointed when a woman tells such a shallow lie, and it makes me lose interest in her. If she’s going to sell dreams, I’d like her to do it more convincingly.
