If you met a girl you’d only seen in a photo 2–3 years ago (about as clear as a Universe photo), would you recognize her as the girl from that photo? I’m going to meet a Universe member privately soon…

You might think, “This person looks familiar,” but unless you have proof, you’ll probably just assume it’s your imagination. And even if you brought it up in private, they’d obviously deny it—and depending on how you phrase it, you could even end up facing a defamation claim. So, if he’s a normal guy, he won’t say anything. Don’t worry about it.

I don’t think you can tell from a photo alone unless there’s a particularly noticeable feature.

You might be able to tell if you add her to your favorites and check her profile every day. On the other hand, maybe you can’t really know without going that far. Marika

You mean the person who asked these questions, right? Are you so concerned because you’re going to meet the person who posted them? If they haven’t made you an offer after only seeing your photo, they probably don’t even know whether they saw it—and likely don’t remember it. That would be my answer to your question, at least... I suppose it might be a different story if they took screenshots of your profile or if you met once and then immediately blocked them.

Whether someone remembers you—or is likely to remember you—probably varies from person to person. Even if they suspect something, they likely won’t say, “You were registered with Universe, weren’t you?” And even if they do, I think you can just deny it.

Unless there’s something distinctive about their face, I don’t think you’d notice. That said, this exact question came up the other day too.
